I consolidated all of my money (a relatively small sum, but critical for me in my retirement) into my credit union account in February, fearing what could happen to our markets. Thank you for validating that this was a good move and giving what I believe to be good counsel to others.
Stephen thanks for trying to get to the other side of all this. Wondering if you can speak to what you think will happen to the US Bond market? What's your sense of how it might react to all the changes? PS I liked your posts about moving past shadow better :). Seriously thank you for all the levels of wisdom you are trying to bring though.
I appreciate your comment, Rachel. Like you, I really relate to Stephen’s writing about moving past shadow. It brings a level of wisdom to my reflections and meditations that is beyond my hitherto understanding. I have been agonising how I could contribute positively in the world right now and Stephen is showing us the way.
Thank you from Australia, Stephen. There is much to take in with this, particularly for someone like me who is not particularly financially literate. I am therefore going to have to read this a few times to take it all in. I believe that my super, small though it is, is largely invested in American companies. Thank you for educating me and for the leadership you are providing. I can see what Rachel is referring to when she writes “all the levels of wisdom”.
Stephen, did you know that China, Japan, Belgium, Switzerland, the Cayman Islands, Saudi Arabia, and India are all selling off their T-bills? That's potentially catastrophic to the US economy.
I know what a super busy life you lead in all areas. I appreciate the time you are giving to do research and form analytical assessments.
Many of my friends are now reading your articles and appreciating them as well. We are the baby boomers, most of us retired and definitely needing to protect our assets.

Stephen, a lot of food for thought. There is obviously much to consider, and you have articulated your research and perspective thoroughly.
Superior article Stephen.
