Another thought comes to me (you have probably already come to this) but could the Shift programs provide an avenue to bring clearer attention to this...a "Healing and Healed Men" series?
Thank you for another thoughtful and sensitive post Stephen. My intuition has been to carry a sign today that says “real men lead with compassion” and I’ve been hesitant. Now I will!
Deep blessings and gratitude for the healing you evoke. ❤️🩹🙏❤️🩹🙏
In facing the depredations being committed by Trump& Co now. and during the early parts of my life, during which I was, not uncommonly, the target of male rage and aggression, including domestic violence and sexual assault, I have from time to time become 'captured by my amygdala," or as Jung might have phrased this, by my unhealed male animus. When those fight, flight or freeze chemicals leave my body I turn again toward the truths I've learned from a life of exposures to teachings in which love, forgiveness, self-contained courage and generosity are central. And I ask my soul, as well as the collective soul of all creation, to forgive me, and help me find compassion, while also setting boundaries and protecting myself. This I hope to embody today, as I set out to attend not one but two No Kings rallies here in Pittsburgh, PA. I can't find it in myself to like Trump&Co, but I can understand that these people are damaged and in some sense walking wounded and not a little crazy. And then, I can reject the knee-jerk reaction to seek revenge. Thank god. And thank you, Stephen, for the teaching.
Thank you for this grounded, heartfelt, compassionate writing on this morning when the world is in the balance of individuals who are engaging the heartbeat for life and the explosive warmongering in the Middle East.
Thank you Stephen. This is exactly what I needed to get myself fully out of the trap of horror and anger I’ve been feeling over these displays of dominance and cruelty. Seeing them as hurt little boys trapped in a culture. I have 3 grandsons: 2, 7, 13. I see the pattern gradually creeping in as each one ages despite a very different type of upbringing than Trump had. I love your insight that their souls may be longing to be instruments of ending this karmic pattern.
Thanks - loads of energy out there today. Here's what I did to prepare and participate. I sent this message to some friends explaining:
My Dears,
Today is a potent day with opportunities to imagine and move towards our most harmonious future. As individuals, as a country and as a civilization. I did what I know how to do best and that's energy work. I created an etheric structure I've named the Cooling Station. It's where any Higher Selves / souls that wish to take advantage of releasing triggering, subconscious beliefs around fear, anger, blame, shame and guilt (to name a few of the big ones) can go and make use of the tools and processes provided as they see fit.
One of the 'stations' in the imagined Cooling Station tent is a place where you can simply dump the hurting and hurtful beliefs into a black hole and voila, gone, transmuted, to hurt no more. Another is a place to use the Emotion Code process. I've sent the structure to all gatherings, rallies and celebrations, and anywhere a soul desires release of these false, debilitating beliefs and patterns. You can take advantage of this structure any time and any place, just use your heart-felt imagination.
This is lovely, Beckie. I'm in Australia and won't be attending rallies, obviously. However, I am going to visit your Cooling Station to dump my hurting and hurtful beliefs and be in solidarity with all the brave ones stepping out today.
Thank you, Stephen. Your writings are balm to my aching soul. Well, it feels like my soul although I know it's not. Today, here in Australia, I have sunk into almost depression and this is not like me. At least, not the me of many years now. You are helping me not to hate Trump and his enablers; to see them as beings in need of healing. Beings just like me. Beings ... soul beings ... crying out for love and redemption. I am willing to do the work of transformation for myself and all beings, and to contribute to and share in collective healing.
And don't forget that most of us have been both male and female in our incarnations. Reincarnation is true. It can be a great tool for us to "put ourselves in others' places."
This is a tender and beautiful piece, Stephen. I applaud you for choosing to apologise to the boy you beat up… but also seeing the much deeper dynamics at play.
It reminds me of Jen Siebel Newsom’s movie called the Mask We Wear. If you haven’t seen it, it’s a powerful exploration of these themes.
Yes Stephen… holding the paradoxes to remember… we are all victims and all perpetrators!!! We all hold all the seeds… which ones are we watering? And can we find the courage and generosity of spirit to look and recognize the wounded child, woman, man in all of us. It’s strong practice, strong medicine. 💔🕊️💔💛🤲💛
I'm very grateful to have this historical trauma-dynamic named and clearly explained. To highlight the need for empathy and understanding to transform the socially ingrained, often invisible patterns of domination and submission is just what we need. Well done. Acceptance of what is is the first step to transformation. Thank you, Stephen.

There is actually a great course with Cyndi Dale right now: The light rising community, bringing energy healing for a tumultuous time

What a powerful message.
It’s definitely a karmic construct, a miasm that comes up in my mind, too.
The wounded, inherited masculine unfolding.
And some psychological insanity, too.
My countries, Germany & France, were liberated by your brave soldiers in 1945 from fascism.
So, I’m standing with you my American friends.
Be brave, be careful,
be peaceful, be compassionate.
Blessings
Thank you so much for this Stephen. There are no words I can say to really honor the deep truth you are sharing... this is true power based in love.
