Shedding Old Patterns
Seeing the Destructiveness from a Wider Perspective
The pace of chaotic and disturbing news keeps intensifying, so I’m feeling called to do some automatic writing to access a higher vantage. As always, take what is valuable and release what is not….
Any moment of dissolution appears cataclysmic on the inside. From the outside, there is a beauty that comes from the shedding of an old form.
Let’s look at what is becoming shed to understand why the destructive energies at play on your planet are part of a larger emergence.
All forms carry energy and when the energy moves in similar patterns for years, decades or even centuries, the dissolution of that form becomes increasingly difficult. That typically means that more force is required to liberate the energy from the old form.
Your current planetary system is based on a pattern of extractive psychology that is thousands of years old. Tribes fearful for their survival began to raid other tribes and extract stored food, resources, and wealth to add to their own and create a feeling of security. Males were better at conducting these raids and they found that they increased in status and ability to marry, procreate, and survive based on their skill in doing so. Little by little a warrior psychology began to supplant the more coherent, balanced psychology that was widespread. Fear-based governing systems began to prevail, which became the domain of men. Physical, economic, and military power became central to being the predator rather than the prey.
In many areas of the world, the older, more balanced patterns endured but gradually the world became governed by the psychology of war, dominated by fear, and in a competition for survival based on maximum extraction. This dominance pattern animated much of the culture of the world eventually, culminating with world wars that were cataclysmically destructive. In the aftermath, humanity began to awaken from this psychology. Women’s suffrage and leadership was central to this process as women’s psychology runs towards caring for all members of a tribe and balances the martial tendencies of men. In the wake of the horrors of World War II, an evolutionary commitment began to grow globally, led by both men and women who realized that higher forms of collaboration would led to increased wealth and collective well-being.
However, the older forms of psychology had deep roots in families, cultures, and value systems. They fought back. They sought power. They amassed wealth. They began to exert control over governments. Religions, which are at the root a path to develop a nobility of purpose, became converted into a strategy to subjugate people psychologically. The powerful, extractive factions, governed by a psychology of fear and infused with a desire for dominance, were able to gradually amass more power.
As the memory of World War II faded, the emergent pattern began to lose momentum to arrest the extractive faction’s growth in power, which happened in business, politics, and culture. To some extent, this was offset with the rise of status in women. In many areas of the world, where women have become closer to equal in power in the governance of society - from Europe to Rwanda - a new ethos has become the norm, one that creates foundations of peaceful collaboration.
But when an extractive, predatory psychology meets a more collaborative, peaceful society, there is an opportunity for loss and harm unless that society musters sufficient defensive forces for self-protection, which gives more power to the martial faction of that society. The dominance psychology thus begins to wield more power in cultures that are under threat.
America was designed as an evolutionary force for the planet, coded with unifying principles that lead to democratic empowerment. However, it achieved its freedom from England in the old way: with men making war. Thus a martial foundation was woven into the psychology of the society. Masculine dominance was strong. A culture of aggression prevailed. And after it built a more collaborative set of institutions on the planet in the wake of World War II, it eventually became entranced with the same obsessions as empires of the past. It engaged in war extensively and built bases for dominance around the world. It implemented systems of economic extraction that were not obvious to its citizens that allowed a concentration of wealth which in turn began to subvert its democracy.
Now, you are effectively ruled by oligarchs rather than having a healthy democracy, which has enabled the old psychology of war, predation, and extraction to take the reins of power.
That needs to change now.
Human evolution can only happen with consciousness. It is not random acts that cause growth but intentionally chosen actions. For intentions to be fully informed, they require a foundation of truth.
So for America to evolve, the full shadow of its extractive pattern needs to be seen. It needs to understand that it has become a global bully, that it has harmed many countries around the world, that it has empowered destructive regimes, and that it is ruled by elites who do not care for average citizens.
In short, the United States of America has become a kind of aggregator for the unresolved issues of millennia of extractive psychology. The point of your moment now is a kind of bonfire of the unresolved karma of the world. The patterns have needed to become exaggerated to become conscious. The horror that you feel is a necessary part of the evolutionary process. You have been entranced with illusions about your culture that need to be dissolved.
The truth, of course, is not only that America is a predator. It is also a sacred leader for the planet. But it cannot fulfill its higher purpose until the full extent of its predation is understood, faced, and ultimately dissolved.
President Trump is a soul who understands the dark side on the deepest level. He has manifested the fullness of the extractive psychology in how he has conducted his businesses and how he governs. In his first term, his destructive power was kept more localized but it has now been globalized with the Iran war. This enables the world to dissolve its idealized illusions about America that have been maintained by the export of media and culture.
If America had continued its trajectory without a disrupter of its illusions, it would have impeded global evolution for decades. Its implosion as a trusted economic, cultural, and political leader is necessary for the world to shed the vestiges of the extractive psychology from the governance of the world.
So Trump is both a malevolent force and a liberator of a better future through the removal of American illusions. Given that the patterns involved extend deep into world history, the force involved to do so is considerable. A globalized war in which America is soundly defeated is such a sufficient force. The global order is not to be supplanted by a new, singular dominant nation but by a coalition of nations that are infused with the emergent psychology.
To reach this next stage, the old pattern needs to be visible to even those who prefer to remain in denial. In short, it has to be dramatic enough to awaken people from comforting illusions.
Souls do this individually by creating self-destructive spirals, often fueled by drugs or some other form of self-indulgence. America is enacting its self-destructive spiral as a result of its addiction to money and power. The addictive psychology needs to collapse for America to be reborn as a spiritual leader on the world stage that respects, honors, and empowers the rest of the world rather than only enriches its own citizens (and particularly its elites). And in that process, a truly multi-polar, collaborative world can emerge.
At the core, a five thousand year span of history is being incinerated in a rapid form through a process of exaggeration and amplification. When something is more exaggerated and amplified, it is more difficult to dwell in illusion.
What the United States of America is facing on the road ahead is to recognize just how extensively it has exploited people globally, how corrupt its governance and cultural elites have become, and how badly it has strayed from its founding ideals. It needs to see the folly of its urge towards martial dominance and empire, which will impoverish the country. It needs to feel the humiliation of going from the most respected country in the world to one of the most vilified. It needs to see clearly how its people have been manipulated from seeing the truth. It needs to see how it has lived on lies.
It is the dark night of the soul for America, which also involves the combustion of global patterns. As the dominant country in the wake of the last world war it became the focal point for metabolizing the unresolved patterns that gave rise to the two global wars.
It has now become the catalyst for the next global war. Fortunately, the defensive technology of drones will ensure that this third world war will result in less loss of human life than the two previous. The impact will be felt more dramatically in the global economy. Effects will spread to people around the world. The people of the world, in turn, will blame the United States and Israel, which will eventually lead to their isolation on the world stage. Then the citizens of the United States will blame Israel for the war and sever their alliance, leaving both countries isolated and in decline economically and culturally, which is exactly the conditions for rebirth of both.
Israel does have an important positive role to play eventually but it needs to face how it has become a dramatic example of the predatory, extractive, and dominator mindset before it does. In reaction to the Holocaust, it determined to never again be the victim, which primed it to become the aggressor. It recapitulated the process by which the cultures of the world were overtaken by the extractive psychology. Facing this process will eventually lead the country to mature spiritually and be a good steward of key holy sites for the world’s religions. Right now, it hides behind American power, which has enabled it to escape the consequences of its actions. It is animated by the unresolved karma, just as America is.
From the widest perspective, America and Israel are becoming the embodiment of the collective shadow of the patriarchal, exploitive, extractive pattern, a pattern that grows from a belief in superiority. They seek to dominate and subjugate other peoples for the purpose of taking what they wish, whether that is oil, money, or land. This process is now becoming more conscious, obvious, and understood by the world. The illusions are coming down. The truth is becoming clear. As the truth becomes obvious, alliances realign. The United States and Israel represent only 5% of the world’s population. The rest of the world, once they are clear on the distortions, will stop catering to them, which will undermine their economic and military power.
Iran’s role in this transition is noteworthy as they act as a kind of elder civilization, as one of your most ancient. They have used the last 47 years to prepare for this moment. They recognized that the predator psychology animating the United States and Israel sought their annihilation or subjugation, which they refused. Their success in repelling the attempt to dominate their country will break apart the collective pattern and lead to not only a reordering of power in the Middle East but a reordering of power globally.
From the higher vantage, the war with Iran is destructive but it is also a shedding of an old skin. Martial men do not release power easily. A humbling defeat is often necessary. The American empire has reached the end of its service to the world. Ideologies that give supremacy to a single race, religion, or nation are no longer useful. The truth is that humanity is all an expression of one evolutionary impulse of the Divine. Creator does not privilege one people, creed, or nation over another. All are valued. All are worthy. All are treasured. Myths that perpetuate domination and subjugation are simply false. And what is false will eventually be dissolved. This moment offers the dissolution of falsehoods that have created suffering for millennia. The dissolution is painful, damaging, and wasteful of resources and life. But that is often what is required for humans to see through the falsehoods and perceive the deeper truth.
The process could happen more quickly but it also can’t be avoided entirely. Disillusionment, en masse, proceeds at the pace of the collective. Those who see more accurately can help to illuminate the path but they cannot force others to walk it. This is where patience is required. Urgency can be another mask of domination. Patience accepts that the dissolution of millennia-old patterns requires time.
Speaking the clear, heart-centered truth is more valuable than polarized rhetoric that seeks to mobilize others quickly to a vantage point. The task is to be magnetic for the future that is seeking to be born rather than to impose it through force, which re-enacts the old pattern. Humanity needs to choose its future. To choose with full awareness sometimes requires experiencing the suffering that the old ways create. This is difficult to witness.
To conclude, do not avoid the heartache. Each person who feels the pain of the moment is a catalyst for completing the past. You become a cauldron for completion of the old ways through your care. But also, do not lose trust in the higher plan, which is not merely in the mind of Creator but in the soul intentions of millions of souls. You are slowly birthing a new pattern. From the vantage of centuries, this is a rapid birthing. You are in the most dramatic and intense phase when it is easy to lose hope and write off the human experiment as failed. It is not failed. An old way of being is demonstrating, once and for all, that it cannot meet the moment. It is the failure of an old system of consciousness and an old constellation of beliefs. It is not the failure of the human spirit.
Dwell in hope, feel the suffering, speak the truth, and be a catalyst for healing and slowly, humanity will emerge from these horrors reborn.

Said with clarity. Thank you, Stephen.
